A general database covering many areas of academic study. Find articles from over 7,000 full-text periodicals and abstracts from more than 11,000 additional journals.

Some Types of Scholarly Papers in History:
Historical Narrative
Explains a lesser-known event in history and giving it new depth or perspective with contemporary eyes.
Primary Source Analysis
A close, informed analysis of an historical artifact, object or written document.
Historiography
The study of historical understandings through time. A story of how history is told should not be taken for granted and can change with modern perspectives. Therefore, a repeated study of a period through new findings or individual lenses/perspectives is required for understanding.
Methods - Most are qualitative. You can have quantitative analysis of data, such as economic data.
