Community Users: Residents and employees of Westchester County, as well as certain other groups, may check out materials. Librarians will provide reference services to community users as time and staffing permit; interlibrary loan and remote access to subscription databases are available only to students, faculty, and employees of Westchester Community College. |
Books
- Students: 21 days, no max. (limit: five on one topic)
- Faculty: 90 days, no max;
- All others: 21 days, 20 max. (limit: five on one topic)
DVDs
- Faculty: may borrow all materials for class presentations
- Students: up to 3 for seven days. No renewals.
- All Others: On-site use.
Periodicals
- All users: On-site use for up to three (3) issues at a time.
Course Reserves (Textbooks)
- Students: On-site use only for two (2) hours. Search Course Reserves for materials.

COMPUTER USE |
PRINTING |
The Library follows the campus Computer Use Policy. Users working on assignments have priority in their use. Users may be asked to give up their seat if they are not working on school or research assignments when there is demand by other users for course or research work. |
Networked and wireless printers are located on the first and second floors of the library. Sign-in with network or MyWCC ID is required of users from the campus community.

Library study rooms are primarily reserved for use by two or more students for activities related to current coursework. Rooms are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. |
Copies are 10 cents per page. The machines take nickels, dimes, quarters, and dollar bills. |
OVERDUE AND LOST MATERIALS |
OVERDUE FINES |
Overdue fines are levied, and bills are sent for the cost of lost materials. Students may not register, receive a transcript, their diploma, or financial aid check, if they have billed books or other library materials outstanding. |
