Our Library Is For Everyone

The Library has helpful services for students, staff, and faculty including 24/7 chat service, text a librarian assistance, course materials on library reserve, subject liaison librarians, and private study rooms.

As we begin the Fall 2019 semester, we’d like to remind you about the following library services:

Ask a Librarian

You can chat with a librarian during Library open hours, text a librarian at (914) 861-3315, call us at (914) 606-6960, e-mail us at reference@sunywcc.edu, or visit the Reference Desk for in-person help.

Subject Liaison Librarians

Subject liaison librarians help students and faculty with research, create research guides to critical resources, and acquire library materials for our collection. They also teach information literacy/research skills in your classes.

To schedule an instruction session with a librarian, please complete an Instruction Request form. To request that the Library purchase books, films, or other materials in these disciplines, please fill out a Collection Purchase Request form.

For general research help, you can always Ask a Librarian

Library Course Reserves

The Library provides access to many of your required textbooks on reserve!

  • Students: to find out if your book is on physical reserve at the Library, search the Library’s Reserve Textbooks collection for the title and author. Items reserve may be checked out for 2 hours and can only be used inside the Library.
  • Faculty: to place a textbook, DVD or other reading material on reserve, please contact Anthony Reda at x8528 or anthony.reda@sunywcc.edu.

Keep in touch with us on Social Media
