Storytelling with Caela Collins (Afternoon Workshop 3:45 p.m.)

Caela Collins is the author of the children's book Food Is Love (2019). Her work has been featured in Essence, O Magazine, The Armory Art Show, and in magazine advertising copy. She was a contributing writer for the human rights organization Breakthrough on its storytelling platform Our Stories in Vivid Color. She produced experiential marketing and branding for popular social media influencers through her company Caela Enterprises, LLC, She also is a Story Director with Written Out Loud, a storytelling program where creative kids become published authors by writing their stories together. Ms. Collins has also worked in after school programming with children in Philadelphia Public Schools.

Storytelling facilitation is a trend that faculty and students can incorporate in their teaching, learning, and professional growth.

This event is made possible with the generous support of the Joseph and Sophia Abeles Chair for Library Sciences.
