WCC has a shared Library catalog that makes it easy to find and borrow resources from other libraries. If you cannot find the book you are looking for in the catalog, you can search other libraries by clicking on the radio button to search either the all SUNY Libraries catalog or the Other Libraries catalog that include the CUNY system and other libraries.
Search for your item again to see if another library system is available. If it is, you will see GET IT in the record. Click on either the book title or GET IT for the Resource Sharing link in the title record to request it from another library.
You will be prompted to log in with your WCC credentials if you are not already signed in (remember to include @my.sunywcc.edu with your ID). Confirm your email address is correct, or click the dropdown to change the notification address > SEND REQUEST.
You will receive an email notification when the book is available for pick-up at the Circulation Desk.
While we can borrow items from the WLS on your behalf, its often quicker for you to get them yourself. You can place holds and have them delivered to whichever branch is closest to you. Ask a librarian (here or at WLS) to determine if they have the resource you need.
