Your assignment is to write a 5-7 page research paper on the topic "Won't Get Fooled Again" as it relates to a speech by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

With a focus on one speech by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., discuss his concerns about America meeting the promises of the nation's founding principles of equality for all. 

The class theme of "Won't Get Fooled Again" may be addressed as:

• MLK Jr.'s disappointment in the pace of progress
• his trusting belief in the progress that will be made
• his hope for a better future
• whether he had doubts or misgivings about his life or philosophy
• his frustration or self-doubt
• his dedication and commitment to non-violence

You will need to use at least five sources, distinguishing between primary and secondary sources, with at least three different sources listed on your Works Cited page. Your sources can be: 

• newspaper and magazine articles
• the New York Times
• an online book review of a prominent biography of MLK or a review of one of his books
• podcasts that discuss a book by MLK or the Civil Rights Movement (Spotify or a similar platform)
• Wikipedia or Wikiquotes

You will need to document your sources with in-text citations and a Works Cited page using MLA 9 style formatting.
