This research guide was created for Prof. Stephens' Introduction to Mass Media class (COMM 101) students. This guide is a customized resource for this assignment.
You must write a 8-10 page research paper using at least five credible, scholarly, peer-reviewed sources based on your topic.
Peer Review is a process to ensure that scholarly articles represent the best research in a field. When an article is submitted for peer review, scholars in the same field assess its quality for publication in a scholarly journal.
Your paper must include a thesis statement, which is a declarative statement that should tell the reader what your paper is about. Your thesis statement must tie into media literacy, and your paper should support your thesis. The conclusion should summarize your research and tie into your thesis.
Your essay should include parenthetical (in-text) citations and a references page using APA 7th edition style formatting.
