Your assignment

Conduct some initial research on your chosen topic. You can use a basic Google search at this stage, but you should also explore Google Scholar (scholar.google.com) which can provide more scholarly sources. Soon, we will visit the library and learn more about research methods.

1) Read for familiarity. What have you learned about your topic so far?

2) Read for acknowledgement and response to the current conversation about the topic. What seems to be missing or unexplored as you research? What are you still interested in learning more about?

3) Read for possible answers to the questions you've raised. What are one or two additional areas that are related to your topic that you can explore in research?
