Welcome

Welcome! This research guide was created for students in SOC 103 - Social Problems, taught by Dr. Miller

You have been asked to write an essay in which you identify a social problem that you think is important. In the essay, you will explain the social problem you chose, why you chose it, what factors you think contribute to or cause the problem, and why it might be important for the class to learn more about the problem.

Following the tabs at the top of this page, you will be guided through the steps required to complete Part 2: Annotated Bibliography of your social problem essay assignment. Finding relevant sources through the Harold L. Drimmer Library and creating an annotated bibliography are critical steps in successfully completing this assignment.

If you have any questions or trouble, feel free to contact your librarian in person, via email, or through the library's virtual services . . . seriously, we are here to help you. If your class librarian is not available, contact the library using any method listed on the right side of this page.
