Spring 2022 Hours and Services

During the fall 2021 semester, the library will be open for In-Person and Virtual services. Additionally, our librarians are available with extended evening and Saturday hours through our Ask-A-Librarian service, allowing students to chat or Zoom with us live or to send an e-mail or text (914-861-3315) request.

Visit answers.sunywcc.edu for live help with a librarian during regular business hours.

After hours, e-mail us at reference@sunywcc.edu or Text us at 914-861-3315, and we will respond the next morning.

Monday through Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Friday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Saturday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Academic Support Center

Academic Support Virtual Services

Ask-A-Tutor is the Academic Support Center's online email-based tutoring service. 

WCC students will be able to access the Academic Support Center tutorial services remotely during the college closure.

Ask-A-Tutor Hours:

Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 p.m.

Tutoring Assistance for Writing in All Disciplines

Virtual Tutoring Through ZOOM:

Students can use Ask-A-Tutor to request a ZOOM virtual tutoring session. Use the links on the Ask-A-Tutor page to select the subject and complete the form. In the question field, request a  ZOOMsession and include questions or upload files. The tutor will reply with a meeting invitation link where both can access the Zoom meeting. 

Requesting a Zoom Tutoring Session should be done with at least 12 hours’ notice.
