Libby is a free app where you can enjoy eBooks and digital audio books from the WCC library (or your public library). You can stream titles with Wi-Fi or mobile data, or download them for offline use and read anytime, anywhere. All you need to get started is your WCC ID card. (Libby is also available in most public libraries).

Libby is an easy-to-use app created by OverDrive and is ideal for mobile devices.
Libby is a collection of e-books and audiobooks containing popular fiction and non-fiction, books common to courses, and free classics.
How do I get Libby?
There are two methods for using Overdrive/Libby:

Visit the Libby/Overdrive Interface for SUNY Westchester (https://libbyapp.com/library/sunywcc). You can browse this website freely until you would like to download an e-book or audio-book when you will be prompted to Login. |
Members of the WCC Community can also download the Libby app (Apple, Google Play, or Amazon Kindle) and access with their WCC Network ID (XXXX@sunywcc.edu or 1234576@my.sunywcc.edu) and Password. |
How Do I Use Libby?
Read or listen to books on a phone or tablet using the free Libby app (Apple, Android, Kindle Fire, Kobo and others) a desktop or laptop computer.
How do I Authenticate (Log In)?
For both the browser version of Overdrive/Libby and the app, you must login with your WCC Network ID (XXXX@sunywcc.edu or 1234576@my.sunywcc.edu) and Password.

What Is the Borrowing Period for Libby?
Books/Audiobooks may be checked out for 21 days. Books are returned automatically after the loan period expires. They may also be renewed.
