COMM 109 - Speech Communication - Prof. Joseph Fall 2021: Welcome to the Library!

Welcome to the Library!

As tutors and librarians, we share the mission of promoting student success in the areas of writing, research, and in giving proper attribution to sources. When a student's professor requires them to support their writing with outside sources, we are here to help them find the most credible, relevant, accurate, and authoritative sources, as well as to advise them on proper citation of those sources in the desired format.

Librarians can help students to:

1.) Select and refine topics

2.) Develop research strategies

3.) Find appropriate sources in Printed and Electronic resources

4.) Provide advice on navigating the Internet for authoritative and reliable sources

5.) Cite information appropriately (In-Text and Bibliographies)

The Library website offers numerous ways for the students to ask questions and answers to frequently asked questions are posted on Ask a Librarian.
