Professor Trickel has placed a copy of your textbook on Reserve in the library in addition to supplemental texts which may be helpful.
You will need to have your WCC ID in order to use Reserve items. They are loaned for 2 hrs, in-library use only.

Search the library catalog to find Books and other Media in the Harold L. Drimmer Library.
Use your keywords to find books on your topic. E.g. search English Language AND History to find books on the History and Development of the English Language.
If your first search doesn't turn up many results, try changing your keywords (e.g. search American Sign Language instead of ASL).
If you do not find any results, broaden your search (e.g. search Dialects instead of Pidgin).
Enter your search terms and click SEARCH. Click on a title for more information. Look at the table of contents or description to see if the book might be helpful.
To find the book on the WCC Library shelves, you will need the CALL NUMBER and LOCATION.
Circulating items can be checked out for 3 weeks with your WCC ID.
REFERENCE and RESERVE books are on the first floor and must be used in the library.
Books with the location CIRCULATING COLLECTION are on the second and third floors.
The general section on linguistics will be found under the Call Numbers P99 - P1091. Titles on the English Language would be found generally under the call numbers PE1 - PE 1600. Books covering other languages may be found in their respective subject sections. Call numbers in the Circulating Collection starting with the call number P are on the second floor of the library.
