Websites for Sociology Research

American Sociological Association The American Sociological Association, founded in 1905, is a non-profit membership association dedicated to serving sociologists in their work, advancing sociology as a science and profession, and promoting the contributions and use of sociology to society.

The SocioWeb: Your Independent Guide to Sociological Resources on the Internet The SocioWeb is an independent guide to the sociological resources available on the Internet and is founded in the belief that the Internet can help to unite the sociological community in powerful ways.

SocioSite -Designed to get access to information and resources which are relevant for sociologists & other social scientists. It has been designed from a global point of view - it gives access to the world wide scene of social sciences. The intention is to provide a comprehensive listing of all sociology resources on the Internet.

A Sociological Tour Through CyberSpace -This site features commentary, data analyses (hey, we've become a "factoid" culture), occasional essays, as well as the requisite links, put together for courses taught by myself and my colleagues. Additions and updates are made daily.

Dead Sociologists' Society - A list of the various theorists, some biographical information, and a summary of their work can be found in the Dead Sociologists' Index, or you can look at the Dead Sociologists Gallery or the original chart from which I developed this.
