This research guide was conceived with the idea of providing students in Western Civilization and World History classes with access to digital resources relevant to these courses. This resource is a starting point rather than a finished product. As it is presently constituted, documents have been chosen from various periods as well as various themes in history ranging from the Ancient period to Modern history. The first set of documents aspire to represent the views of individuals of different social classes and social condition as well as gendered perspectives. This resource guide will link you to sources that are available on the web (verified as reliable content) and the library databases for academic research in the humanities and social sciences. It is our intent to continue to build to this guide so that students and faculty can access these sources as needed with reliability for both their course work and individual research projects.
