THIS IS NOT THE COMPLETE ASSIGNMENT. See your course shell for examples of topics. 

Essay #2.

Write an literary analysis essay:

  • Minimum 1250 words long (~5 double spaced pp)
  • Using one of more of the short stories from your readings
  • Include at least 2 secondary sources (books, articles or websites) that provide biographical, historical, literary critical or other useful perspectives on the story or stories you are analyzing.
  • MLA format including properly quoted and paraphrased evidence from the stories and secondary sources plus a complete Works Cited list.

You will also be preparing

  • Annotated Bibliographies for each of your secondary sources. Due before Essay #2.
